NOCECO being one of the Electric Cooperatives registered under the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) in the year 2006, received a Special Citation during the CDA 2018 Gawad Parangal Awarding, Regiona Level granted last October 27, 2018 held at Mayor Rodrigo Chua Memorial Center in Sipalay City, Negros Occidental.
The Special Citation was awarded to NOCECO being a "specific type of cooperative providing quality, safe and prompt delivery of electric service to the members and the community at fair and reasonable prices."
Director Elbert L. Magabato of District 9 together with Communication and Customer Service Department Manager, Jocelyn C. Garcia, Human Resource and Management Development Department Manager, Cherrie Grace S. Abkilan, Cooperative Secretary, Jerry Algara, and Liaison Officer Nilo Limsiaco, were full force to receive the award.
The award given to NOCECO is an evidence that the Cooperative is living up to the mission of providing quality, safe, reliable and sustainable electric distribution services to its most valued Member-Consumer-Owners (MCOs); focusing on the willingness to serve them better in the future and to continue enriching and enlighten their lives and for the future generation.
